Super Moist Fruit Cake Recipe

 

Holiday Delight in Every Bite!

 

Ingredients:
– 1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
– 1 cup brown sugar, packed
– 4 large eggs
– 1/4 cup molasses
– 1/4 cup orange juice
– 2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 teaspoon baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/2 teaspoon salt
– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
– 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
– 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
– 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
– 2 cups mixed dried fruits (raisins, currants, chopped dates, chopped apricots)
– 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans, almonds)
– 1/4 cup brandy or rum (optional, for soaking)
