Easy Sopapilla Cheesecake Bars Recipe.

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to preheat.

2. Prepare Baking Dish: Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.

3. First Layer: Lay one pack of crescent rolls in the bottom of the dish, pressing the dough to cover the entire bottom and seal any seams.

4. Pre-Bake First Layer (Optional): Bake this bottom layer for 5-8 minutes until it’s just starting to set. This step ensures the dough isn’t raw.

5. Prepare Cheesecake Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and creamy.

6. Spread Filling: Evenly spread the cream cheese mixture over the pre-baked crescent roll layer.

7. Top Layer: Unroll the second pack of crescent rolls and place it over the cream cheese layer. Stretch the dough to cover the filling and pinch any seams to seal.

8. Add Topping: Brush the melted butter evenly over the top crescent roll layer. In a small bowl, mix the 4 tablespoons of sugar with the cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture generously over the top.

9. Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.

10. Cool and Serve: You can enjoy these bars warm for a gooey treat or let them cool and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours for a firmer texture. Cut into bars and serve. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator.
