2. Heat the Milk

Pour 1 cup of whole milk into a small saucepan set on medium-low heat. Just heat it enough to be hot to the touch but not scalding; do not let it boil.

3. Combine Milk with Gelatin

Once the milk is heated, remove it from the stove and mix in the gelatin. Stir until the gelatin completely melts into the milk.

4. Chill the Mixture

Pour the milk and gelatin mixture into a mixing bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for around ten minutes. The mixture should be cool but not completely set.

5. Whip the Cream

After the mixture cools, quickly whip it on high speed using an electric mixer. Whip until soft peaks form and the mixture resembles whipped cream, about 5 to 7 minutes.
