Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat a 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.
- In a medium mixing bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In another medium mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas and KELLOGG’S CORN FLAKES cereal. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes, or until the cereal softens. Beat well.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter and sugar until combined. Add the eggs and beat well.
- Mix in the banana-cereal mixture and the chopped walnuts. Stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Spread the batter evenly in the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for about 1 hour, or until a wooden pick inserted near the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing it. Cool completely before slicing. Wrap with plastic wrap to keep fresh
