Ruth’s Chris Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

Crust Topping:
– 3/4 cup brown sugar
– 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
– 3/4 cup chopped pecans
– 1/4 cup melted butter

Sweet Potato Mixture:
– 3/4 cup sugar
– 1/4 tsp salt
– 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
– 2 cups cooked and mashed sweet potatoes
– 1 egg, beaten
– 1/4 cup butter, softened

Instructions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish to prevent sticking.

2. Prepare the crust topping by mixing together the brown sugar, flour, chopped pecans, and melted butter. Set aside.

3. In a large bowl, combine the sugar, salt, vanilla extract, mashed sweet potatoes, beaten egg, and softened butter until smooth.

4. Pour the sweet potato mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.

5. Sprinkle the crust topping over the sweet potato mixture, covering the entire surface.

6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the casserole is heated through.
